By default, this plugin uses an OAuth proxy service to simplify the Google authentication process. This is optional — advanced users can configure their own Google OAuth credentials in the plugin settings.

What the service is:

Alternative:

You can bypass the proxy entirely by configuring your own Google OAuth credentials in Settings → OAuth Settings. When using custom credentials, no data is sent to the proxy server.
