Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records Redirect and Log version 1.0 as active, updated 11y ago and tested up to WordPress 4.2.
Overview
About this plugin
Redirect and Log is a straightforward, no-nonsense way to track visits to a page, then to send a visitor somewhere else.
A new meta box will be added to the edit post page. If the value is not empty, visitors will be redirected to the new location, and their IP address will be logged in a simple custom table. That’s it!
No bells or whistles.

“Tested up to” is directory metadata supplied by the plugin author. WP PlugIndex does not turn an older declaration into a claim that the plugin is incompatible.
