Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →

WP PlugIndex currently records RelyWP: Simple Store Credit – Wallet System for WooCommerce version 1.1.0 as active, updated 3d ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.

Overview

About this plugin

Store Credit and Wallet plugin for WooCommerce that helps you launch a lightweight, no-bloat store credit and wallet system without complexity.

Every customer gets a store credit balance (a wallet) they can top up, earn, and spend at checkout. You can also issue flexible credit vouchers, refund orders to store credit instead of the original payment method, and reward purchases with automatic credit – a complete store credit experience for WooCommerce.

A dedicated “Store Credit” page appears under My Account where customers can view their wallet balance, vouchers, top-up options, and full activity history.

Admins get a clear settings area and tools to adjust balances, manage vouchers, refund to credit, and review a complete activity log.

  • Compact wallet widget shown inside the cart totals for a quick apply/remove toggle

Why choose this Store Credit and Wallet plugin?

  • Built specifically for WooCommerce
  • Fast and lightweight
  • Simple UX: one wallet dashboard with balance, vouchers, top-up, and history
  • Easy to set up and configure
  • Works alongside WooCommerce coupons, sales, and the block cart and checkout
  • Two flexible systems: an account credit wallet, credit vouchers, or both
  • Refund to store credit to keep revenue in your store and encourage repeat purchases
  • Comprehensive admin tools for managing your store credit program

Ways to Add Store Credit

There are several ways for customers to build up their wallet balance, including:

  • Topping up (buying store credit) from a page or their My Account dashboard
  • Receiving a refund as store credit instead of to their payment method
  • Being awarded credit manually by an admin
  • Being gifted credit from another customer

Spending Store Credit

Customers can spend their wallet balance and vouchers via the Credit Redemption Tool at the cart and checkout (and the compact widget in the cart totals):

  • Apply their account balance, in full or as a custom partial amount
  • Choose and apply one or more credit vouchers
  • Claim a voucher by entering its code
  • Combine an account balance and a voucher on the same order (if enabled)

Redemption respects any minimum amount and maximum order-coverage limits you set.

Credit Vouchers

Credit vouchers are stored as standard WooCommerce coupons, so you can manage them from WooCommerce → Marketing → Coupons. Set a code prefix for auto-generated vouchers and configure a template coupon whose restrictions are copied to every new voucher. Vouchers support partial redemption, so a customer can spend part of a voucher’s value and keep the rest for a future order.

Pro Features

  • Unlimited access to all features
  • Automatic cashback (store credit) on purchases
  • Conditional earning rules (by product, category, role, order total, quantity, or payment method)
  • Credit expiry with automatic reminder emails
  • Bulk credit tools to grant credit to customers by role
  • Discounts on bulk and fixed voucher purchases
  • Customer gifting (buy a gift, gift from balance, or gift a voucher)
  • WooCommerce Subscriptions: pay for subscriptions with store credit, use credit towards renewals, sell credit memberships, and send low-balance reminders
