Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →

WP PlugIndex currently records Revclar SMS Confirmations version 0.9.0 as active, updated 16d ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.

Overview

About this plugin

Revclar SMS Confirmations helps WooCommerce stores that ship cash-on-delivery (COD) orders reduce fake orders, wrong addresses and return-to-sender deliveries.

For every new COD order, the plugin asks our secure service to send the customer an SMS with a link to a mobile-friendly confirmation page. The customer confirms the shipping address (or reports it as wrong) and the result is written back to the WooCommerce order as a private order note — so your team knows which orders are safe to pack and ship.

Key features:

  • Automatic SMS for COD orders (processing / on-hold), sent asynchronously so checkout is never slowed down — and, if you turn it on, for orders paid by card too
  • Customer-facing confirmation page and SMS in 13 languages, with per-order language detection for multilingual stores (WPML, Polylang, TranslatePress)
  • An “SMS” column in the WooCommerce orders list (Confirmed / Not sent with the reason / Wrong address / Sent), compatible with High-Performance Order Storage
  • A wp-admin notice when recent orders did not get their SMS (low wallet balance, invalid phone, unsupported country…), with a link to the filtered orders list
  • Agent / promo codes: the first month of the Pro plan free, no card needed, then back to Free automatically
  • Confirmation page themes (light, dark and more) plus custom brand colors, previewable from wp-admin
  • Transparent pricing: a monthly plan for platform access and a prepaid wallet for the SMS messages themselves
  • Every account starts with a $0.60 signup bonus in the wallet, so you can test the full flow for free
  • Built-in Stripe billing (embedded checkout) for subscriptions and wallet top-ups, with invoices and a customer portal
  • Order notes in WooCommerce for every event: SMS sent or not sent (with the reason), address confirmed, wrong address reported

Plans:

  • Free — $0/month, up to 100 orders/month
  • Starter — $29/month, up to 500 orders/month
  • Growth — $59/month, up to 1,000 orders/month
  • Pro — $99/month, unlimited orders

08/SMS depending on destination country). The plan only covers platform access and the monthly order quota.

This plugin is a connector: it requires a free Revclar account and an API token generated from your Revclar dashboard. See the “External Services” section below for exactly what data is sent where, and when.

External Services

This plugin connects your store to the Revclar SMS Confirmations service and to Stripe. It cannot function without these connections. Here is exactly what is sent, where, and when:

com)

This is the service that sends the SMS messages and hosts the customer confirmation pages.

  • When you connect the plugin (pairing): your store URL, a WooCommerce REST API consumer key/secret generated locally (used by the service only to write order notes back to your store), your WordPress and WooCommerce versions and your site locale.
  • When a cash-on-delivery order reaches a trigger status (processing/on-hold), once per order: the order ID and number, customer name, customer phone number, shipping address (street, city, postcode, country), payment method, order status, order total and currency, and the order language (when provided by WPML, Polylang or TranslatePress). Orders paid by card or any other non-COD method are sent ONLY if you enable “Send SMS also for orders paid by card” in the plugin settings (off by default); while it is off, no data about those orders leaves your site. The phone number is used exclusively to send the confirmation SMS; the address is shown to the customer on the confirmation page. Developers can restrict which payment methods leave the site even further with the smsconf_revclar_payment_methods filter.
  • When you save the plugin settings: the language, theme, colors and the card-orders option you chose.
  • When you apply an agent / promo code: the code you typed. The service checks it, and may share the code and your store address with its partner-agent system to credit the agent who referred you.
  • When you open the plugin settings in wp-admin: your API token is sent to fetch your settings, wallet balance, usage and billing status.
  • When you start a subscription or wallet top-up: your chosen plan or amount and the return URL of your wp-admin page.

Used for paid subscriptions and wallet top-ups.

  • When you start a payment in wp-admin, the Stripe.js library is loaded from https://js.stripe.com and an embedded Stripe checkout is displayed in the page. Card details are entered directly into Stripe’s secure fields and are sent only to Stripe — they never pass through your WordPress server or the Revclar service.
  • The Revclar service communicates with the Stripe API (https://api.stripe.com) server-side to create checkout sessions, manage subscriptions and list your invoices.
