- Data Transmitted: Customer mobile phone number, customer first/full name, order ID, order status, order total amount, currency code, order items summary, recovery checkout link, and message delivery status.
- When Transmissions Occur: Outbound API requests occur only when a configured store event triggers a message (such as an abandoned cart reminder, order status change, failed payment follow-up, or COD verification) AND only if the customer has explicitly opted in. Administrative requests occur only when a store manager tests API credentials or synchronizes approved message templates from the admin dashboard.
- Customer Consent & Privacy Enforcement: Data is transmitted to Meta solely when the store administrator has supplied their own Meta WhatsApp Business credentials and the recipient customer has explicitly consented. Customer consent is collected via an unchecked opt-in checkbox at checkout and is permanently mandatory. The plugin re-verifies consent at every outbound dispatch point, queue execution, and retry attempt; unconsented or revoked customer records are strictly blocked.
