Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →

WP PlugIndex currently records SchemaGrove version 1.2.0 as active, updated 1mo ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.

Overview

About this plugin

SchemaGrove gives WordPress site owners a visual way to build accurate, connected structured data. org entities as a graph you can see and inspect.

Connect entities, choose their properties, bind values to WordPress content, validate the result, and preview the exact compiled JSON-LD before it can appear on the front end. SchemaGrove Lite provides the complete per-content graph workflow and does not require an external service.

New in 1.2.0

  • Check saved configuration and public HTML from Page tools.
  • Review and restore the latest three saved graph versions into a draft.
  • Compare the current draft with saved compiled output before saving.
  • Print a page health report or save it as PDF using your browser.
  • Save up to three personal reusable graph sections and preview insertion.
  • Upgrade to Pro for longer history, shared libraries, affected-page previews, and branded site reports with CSV export.

Build structured data visually

  • Build graphs for posts, pages, products, and other selected public post types in a visual canvas with optional Focus mode.
  • Open the compact schema editor from an enabled WordPress content editing screen; save schema separately or continue in the full builder.
  • Search a bundled Schema.org type and property catalog and see compatible property guidance while you work.
  • Begin with a content-aware starter graph, build from scratch, or import an existing graph for further editing.
  • Create nested schemas, repeated values, and connected entity references without manually assembling JSON.
  • Bind properties to allowlisted post, author, featured-image, date, and site values so saved graphs can follow WordPress content safely.
  • Arrange graph cards manually, use the auto-organize action, and move between entity and property details without losing the structure around you.
  • Export graphs for reuse or review, then inspect the exact JSON-LD produced by the server-side compiler.
  • Switch between a light workspace and a neutral charcoal dark theme; the choice is saved separately for each WordPress user.

Understand and publish safely

  • Validate required structure and value compatibility before saving a graph, with explanations and direct links to affected fields.
  • Publish JSON-LD only on singular content with an explicitly saved, valid graph; unresolved ownership decisions keep output safely paused.
  • Use Guided Setup to define site identity, select supported content types, and make an informed schema-publishing plan.
  • Coordinate with an existing SEO or structured-data plugin through clear ownership guidance. SchemaGrove does not rewrite another plugin’s saved settings.
  • Explore up to 1,000 loaded content items in Site Graph, with searchable and filtered map/table pages, bounded relationship rendering, and explicit partial-coverage notices.
  • Work within capability checks and bounded graph, search, and compilation limits designed for predictable WordPress administration.
  • Keep the workflow local: SchemaGrove Lite bundles its vocabulary, compiles in WordPress, and makes no external AI or content requests.

SchemaGrove Pro

SchemaGrove Pro is a separately purchased and distributed add-on for teams that need site-wide governance, reusable schema systems, evidence, and operational workflows. Pro extends Lite with:

  • Conditional templates with a full-page visual builder, activation windows, simulation, and per-content overrides.
  • A canonical entity registry for linking shared people, organizations, and other entities into post and template graphs.
  • Supported, request-scoped schema-ownership integrations and collision diagnostics for common SEO and commerce plugins without changing their saved settings.
  • Resumable site audits, bounded queues, schedules, automations, operational diagnostics, and a privacy-conscious local support bundle.
  • Integration bindings for ACF, WooCommerce, Pods, and Meta Box.
  • Local Agent Readiness evidence, crawler-policy controls, optional machine-facing interfaces, and remediation history.
  • Administrator-authorized Google Search Console evidence and optional URL Inspection samples.
  • Advisory Schema Copilot workflows with a deterministic local provider and an optional OpenAI provider that requires configuration, explicit data-sharing consent, and an authorized run.
  • Review-required vertical packs for Local Business, Publisher, Ecommerce, Events, Courses, Jobs, and Recipes.

SchemaGrove Lite remains fully usable for every Lite feature described above. Learn more at the SchemaGrove website or read the documentation.

Privacy

SchemaGrove Lite stores schema graphs in WordPress post metadata, settings in the WordPress options table, and each user’s light or dark appearance preference in that user’s local WordPress account data. Each saved graph also records its revision, save time, and the WordPress user ID that last edited it for concurrency and audit context. It sends no content or personal data to an external service.

Suggested disclosure text is also added to WordPress’s Privacy Policy Guide.

Developer Notes

The authenticated REST namespace is schemagrove/v1. Cookie-authenticated requests use the standard wp_rest nonce; application passwords continue to work through WordPress REST authentication. md.
