About this plugin
Help customers discover your business through AI search.
Glim AI helps brands and marketing teams understand how they appear in ChatGPT, Google AI, and other AI search engines, then turn missed opportunities into optimized content. This plugin connects WordPress to the hosted Glim service so teams can publish that content with editorial control and measure AI crawler activity and referral traffic.
A measurable content workflow
- Measure where your brand is missing from AI answers in Glim.
- Turn identified visibility gaps into optimized, evidence-led content.
- Publish to WordPress as a draft for editorial review, or allow live publishing explicitly.
- Measure recognized AI crawler activity and referral traffic from AI assistants.
The plugin provides two independently configured features:
- Content Publishing creates and updates Glim-generated WordPress posts. Publishing defaults to drafts. Live publishing requires an explicit WordPress administrator setting.
- AI Crawler Analytics measures recognized AI crawler requests, AI referral hostnames, and aggregate page-request totals. Account authorization installs its credential automatically, but analytics remains disabled until a WordPress administrator enables and saves it.
A Glim account is required. Click Connect Glim account to sign in or create an account, choose the project for this WordPress site, review the requested access, and approve the connection. WordPress prepares Content Publishing and, when needed, the Crawler Analytics credential automatically.
Credential installation does not enable analytics. Manual keys remain available only as a fallback under Having trouble?
Some Glim service features may require a paid plan. Installing the plugin does not guarantee improved AI visibility or mentions. It provides a measurable workflow that helps teams turn identified gaps into content and evaluate what changes over time.

Only after a WordPress administrator explicitly clicks Connect Glim account, Set up analytics only, or Connect Analytics with Glim, the plugin sends the site URL, WordPress REST URL, plugin version, connection purpose, and draft or live publishing preference to a Glim API hosted on Supabase. The administrator signs in or creates an account on Glim, chooses a project, and explicitly approves access.
WordPress stores a hash of the resulting publishing token plus a separate disconnect-only proof, and stores the Crawler Analytics credential as a non-autoloaded WordPress option. Preparing that credential does not enable analytics or send analytics data. The manual fallback additionally sends a one-time connection key and administration URL.
Glim then sends authenticated publishing payloads to this site’s seoforgpt/v1 REST routes. Those payloads may contain post titles, HTML content, excerpts, slugs, status, categories, tags, featured-image URLs, SEO metadata, project IDs, and generated-content IDs.
When AI Crawler Analytics is explicitly enabled, requests are sent to a Glim API hosted on Supabase. They may include timestamps, site hostname, query-free request paths, HTTP method and status, recognized crawler identifiers, AI referrer hostnames, aggregate page-request totals, plugin version, runtime, and site URL. The official plugin does not add visitor IP addresses, full referrer URLs, cookies, request bodies, emails, WordPress user IDs, logged-in traffic, or human browser user agents to these payloads.
Ordinary hosting and service network logs may still contain standard connection information.

Glim uses Supabase as its backend infrastructure provider. The Glim API endpoints listed in the plugin are hosted on Supabase, so the data described above is transmitted through Supabase infrastructure only when the corresponding Glim connection or explicitly enabled analytics feature is used.

Deleting this WordPress plugin removes settings owned by the official plugin. On migrated sites, legacy option values and published-post metadata are intentionally preserved to support rollback. Deleting the plugin does not delete data held in the user’s Glim account.
Account-data requests must be made through Glim.
