Active installations100Adoption metric — not a quality score

Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records Shrinkwrap Images version 1.3.2 as active, updated 1y ago and tested up to WordPress 6.8.
Overview
About this plugin
This plugin will automatically add a tiny, invisible image on top of all of the images in your site. If a visitor right-clicks on one of your images, and selects “Save to Disk”, they will download the clear tiny image instead of the image that appears. If they select “Copy Image”, they will copy the clear tiny image instead of the image that appears.
You shouldn’t notice any slowdown on your site after installing the plugin; it has a very low profile.
In no way does the plugin claim to prevent downloads entirely; it is merely an added protective measure for your images.
Usage
If someone right-clicks on an image on your site, and selects Dowwnload Image or Open in New Tab etc., the plugin will return a 10×10 blank gif image.

“Tested up to” is directory metadata supplied by the plugin author. WP PlugIndex does not turn an older declaration into a claim that the plugin is incompatible.
