Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records Simple NoAI and NoImageAI version 1.6.7 as active, updated 4mo ago and tested up to WordPress 7.0.
Overview
About this plugin
This plugin is very simple: It adds a line of code in high priority to the header of every page on your site that politely asks AI crawlers not to use your content for AI training purposes.
For more information on how the meta tag works, you can check out the blog post what is DeviantArt’s new “noai” and “noimageai” meta tag and how to install it.
txt is now included, and includes popular crawlers like GPTBot and Google-Extended. More crawlers will be added as they are created or discovered.

“Tested up to” is directory metadata supplied by the plugin author. WP PlugIndex does not turn an older declaration into a claim that the plugin is incompatible.
