SmartTags AI for WooCommerce helps you find missing and weak product tags using real Google search suggestions and optional AI models.
Instead of manually guessing keywords or changing your whole catalog at once, SmartTags shows which products need attention and lets you preview suggested fixes before anything is applied. You decide whether SmartTags should only add tags or replace low-quality tags after the configured limit is reached.
The plugin works out of the box with Google Search Suggestions (no API key required) and supports optional AI-based tag generation using your own API keys.

Requirements

Telemetry & Privacy
- Telemetry is disabled by default.
- When disabled, the plugin operates locally and does not contact external services except Google Search Suggestions, selected AI providers, Pro license checks, and Pro prompt/model configuration updates.
- When enabled, the plugin may contact webdirection.com.au to:
- Fetch shared AI model lists and prompt templates
- Sync license status for SmartTags Pro
- Data sent for telemetry sync (only when telemetry is enabled):
- Site URL
- Domain fingerprint
- Plugin version and license status
- Anonymous usage counters
- Pro prompt/model configuration requests may include the site URL, plugin version, and license status required to deliver the Pro feature. No product, customer, or order data is sent to webdirection.com.au for prompt template updates.
- No customer, order, or personal data is transmitted.
- Telemetry can be disabled at any time in the plugin settings.
