Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →

WP PlugIndex currently records SnappBox version 1.2.1 as active, updated 4d ago and tested up to WordPress 7.0.

Overview

About this plugin

SnappBox connects WooCommerce to the SnappBox delivery platform. It provides delivery pricing, branch management, map-based service areas, order creation, and delivery-status tracking.

Highlights

  • WooCommerce shipping-method integration
  • Multiple store branches with independent addresses and contact details
  • Map-based delivery polygons for each branch
  • Automatic branch suggestions based on the customer’s delivery location
  • Cash on delivery, flat-rate, free-shipping, and SnappBox wallet options
  • Delivery status visibility in the WordPress dashboard
  • RTL map support for Persian-language stores

Requirements

  • WordPress 5.6 or newer
  • WooCommerce installed and activated
  • PHP 7.4 or newer

Installation

  • Download the plugin from https://snapp-box.com/wordpress-plugin.
  • In WordPress, open Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
  • Select the downloaded ZIP file, install it, and click Activate Plugin.
  • Open WooCommerce → SnappBox Quick Setup.
  • Get your token from snapp-box.com/connect.
  • Paste the token into the activation wizard and continue through the setup steps.
  • Save the settings and add SnappBox to the appropriate WooCommerce shipping zone.

WooCommerce must be installed and active before SnappBox is activated.

Basic configuration

  • Add your store information and set the store location on the map.
  • Enable the SnappBox shipping method.
  • Configure supported cities and regions.
  • Configure cash on delivery, flat-rate, free-shipping, or SnappBox wallet options.
  • Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Shipping → Shipping Zones.
  • Add SnappBox to the appropriate shipping zone and save.

Multi-branch delivery

SnappBox supports multiple store branches. Each branch can have its own name, contact details, address, map location, block and unit information, and delivery coverage area.

To add or edit a branch:

  • Open SnappBox → Branches in the WordPress dashboard.
  • Click Add branch, or choose Edit Branch for an existing branch.
  • Enter the branch information and move the map pin to the exact location.
  • Draw the branch’s delivery area on the map.
  • Mark one branch as Default when it should be the main store address.
  • Save the branch.

The first branch is automatically set as the default when no other branches exist. Branches can be edited or removed from the same management screen.

Delivery polygons

A polygon defines the geographic area served by a branch. SnappBox checks the customer’s latitude and longitude against branch polygons and can suggest the closest matching branch during checkout and order management.

To draw a polygon:

  • Open the branch form and locate the map.
  • Click Start Drawing Area.
  • Add at least three points around the service area.
  • Close the shape, review the boundary, and save the branch.

Coordinates are stored as longitude/latitude pairs and sent to the SnappBox API as WKT. Example:

6656))

The first and last points should close the shape. Avoid self-intersecting boundaries and keep each polygon within the branch’s actual serviceable area.

Testing

  • Create a test order and select SnappBox at checkout.
  • Confirm that the checkout map and delivery address are correct.
  • In WooCommerce → Orders, verify the selected branch and SnappBox shipping method.
  • Check the delivery status from the WordPress dashboard or the SnappBox mobile app.

Source Code

Production assets may be minified for performance. Source files are included where available, including the branch-management code in includes/branches/ and the map interfaces in assets/js/ and assets/css/.

External Services

The plugin loads the Mapbox RTL Text Plugin, Snapp Maps style, SnappBox configuration, and SnappBox API from their official endpoints. These services provide map rendering, right-to-left text support, remote configuration, branch data, pricing, orders, and delivery statuses.

The plugin may use Yandex tracking when enabled by the remote configuration. To disable it, set the top-level yandex value to false or "off".
