Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records Specific Files version 1.3.2 as active, updated 12y ago and tested up to WordPress 3.9.
Overview
About this plugin
With this plugin, you will be able to include certain CSS or JS files in only selected posts, pages, or other post types, instead of including them everywhere. You can also edit inline CSS & JS and include CSS & JS files from anywhere on specific posts and pages.
It places meta boxes in the WordPress post editor so it’s easy to select which files you want to include with the post you’re currently editing. This plugin works well for all websites, large and small, and it works well with WordPress multi-site (WordPress MU). 1 beta 2.
See this plugin’s page on my website for information/comments/questions. I am open to the idea of suggestions and patches to this plugin! If you enjoyed this plugin, please donate or say thanks.
Todo:
Add a “remove references” button on the options page so people can remove file references without having to delete the file.

“Tested up to” is directory metadata supplied by the plugin author. WP PlugIndex does not turn an older declaration into a claim that the plugin is incompatible.
