Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records Squircle version 1.0.0 as active, updated 2mo ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.
Overview
About this plugin
Squircle is a lightweight extension for Elementor that adds CSS corner-shape support to your designs — including squircle, bevel, scoop, and notch shapes.
Instead of writing custom CSS, Squircle seamlessly integrates with Elementor’s existing Border controls. Simply select a corner shape, use Elementor’s native Border Radius control, and immediately see the effect applied in both the editor and the frontend.
Squircle leverages the modern CSS corner-shape property to create true superellipse corners, beveled edges, scooped curves, and notched cuts — ensuring optimal performance with zero frontend JavaScript dependencies.
Features
Multiple Corner Shapes: Choose from Squircle, Bevel, Scoop, and Notch — all native CSS, no SVG hacks.
Progressive Enhancement: Fully compatible with modern Chromium browsers (Chrome, Edge 139+). Gracefully falls back to standard border-radius in unsupported browsers.
Zero Bloat: No external CSS files, no JavaScript libraries, and no database tables. Everything is handled via Elementor’s core architecture.
Universal Support: Works natively with Containers, Images, Buttons, and most third-party Elementor widgets that use standard border controls.
