Adds a sidebar widget to display MLB standings. Year, division, and default team are all customizable.
Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. WP PlugIndex currently records Starcross MLB Standings Widget version 1.4.1 as active, updated 17y ago and tested up to WordPress 2.7.
The MLB Standings Widget allows you to add to your sidebar a dynamic table that displays MLB standings.
The standings are updated in real-time, without you having to do any work. Simply choose the division you want the widget to display upon initial load, and, optionally, your favorite team.
The current or previous season can be displayed as well. This is useful during the offseason to display the previous season’s results.
Not yet marked as tested with WordPress 7.1. WordPress.org currently lists Tested up to 2.7.
“Tested up to” is directory metadata supplied by the plugin author. WP PlugIndex does not turn an older declaration into a claim that the plugin is incompatible.
