Active installations300Adoption metric — not a quality score

Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records Subscribe to Download Lite – Email Before Download Plugin version 1.3.0 as active, updated 1mo ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.
Overview
About this plugin
Subscribe to Download Lite helps you grow your email list by offering a downloadable file after signup. Add the form to any page, collect subscriber details, and automatically send the download link by email.
Use it for lead magnets, free PDFs, checklists, ebooks, resource packs, templates, or any other downloadable freebie you want to send after subscription. If you do not want to offer a file, you can also use it as a simple email signup form.
This plugin is built for site owners who want a straightforward “email before download” workflow without building a custom funnel from scratch.
