About this plugin

Summa Pricing adds a dedicated pricing panel to WooCommerce. It lets store managers enter purchase prices per product, define margin-based pricing rules, and track price changes over time. Features Purchase price management Record a net purchase price for each product. The plugin stores it in a configurable product meta key and can automatically calculate the selling price from the purchase price and a target margin. Automatic pricing When enabled, changing a product’s purchase price triggers an automatic recalculation of its regular price, based on the global margin ratio and the product’s tax class. Products with manual pricing or an active sale price can be excluded. Pricing by stock Assign different margin ratios depending on a product’s current stock level. Price and purchase price history Optionally record every price change per product. History is shown as a chart on the per-product page inside the plugin. Summa Pricing Pro Summa Pricing Pro is a separate, optional add-on plugin that requires Summa Pricing to be installed and active. It adds: Bulk pricing Apply margin-based pricing rules across product categories or custom taxonomies from a single screen. Each category can have its own margin ratio that overrides the global setting, and margin groups let you assign a ratio to a hand-picked set of products. Purchase price change alerts Set a percentage threshold. When a product’s purchase price changes beyond that threshold, the product is tagged, manual pricing is activated for it, and it appears in a dedicated Purchase Price Change Alerts table for review. Google Merchant Center integration Connect to Google Merchant Center via OAuth 2.0 to pull GMC prices and recommended prices into the pricing table. Requires a Google Cloud project with the Content API for Shopping enabled — see the GMC Setup Guide tab for step-by-step instructions. Árukereső integration Import competitor position and best price data from an Árukereső CSV feed. The data can be synced manually or automatically once per day. Using Summa Pricing All pricing tools are accessible via Products > Summa Pricing in the WordPress admin. The page has the following tabs: Manual Pricing Lists all products with their purchase price, margin, regular price, and sale price. Click any editable cell to update the value inline. A “manual price” checkbox per product prevents automatic pricing from overwriting a manually set price. Pricing by Stock Define margin ratios that apply based on a product’s current stock quantity. Products with stock below or above the configured thresholds will have their prices calculated using the corresponding margin. Bulk Pricing (requires Summa Pricing Pro) Select a product category or taxonomy term and apply a margin ratio to all products in that group at once. Refresh External Data (requires Summa Pricing Pro) Manually trigger a sync of GMC data or Árukereső data. A progress bar shows sync status. The date of the last successful sync is displayed for each source. Purchase Price Change Alerts (requires Summa Pricing Pro) Displays products whose purchase price changed beyond the configured threshold. Review each product and clear the alert once the pricing has been handled. The table supports column reordering, toggling, and CSV export. Product A per-product detail page showing price history and purchase price history as charts, along with the full product pricing data. GMC Setup Guide (requires Summa Pricing Pro) Step-by-step instructions for setting up the Google Merchant Center OAuth integration. Settings Links directly to WooCommerce > Settings > Summa Pricing .
