About this plugin
Every WooCommerce order becomes a Xero invoice within seconds. Then Syncible reads it back and checks it, line by line.
Used by WooCommerce stores in the UK and Australia since May 2026.
Sending an invoice is half the job. Syncible’s Trust Layer™ reads every invoice back after it’s sent and compares it with the order: every quantity, price, line total and VAT or GST figure, to the penny. If anything differs, you see which line.
Verify shows any order beside its live Xero invoice on demand. Both on every plan, Free included.
Orders post the moment they’re paid, not on the next scheduled task or in a nightly batch. Refunds become credit notes, payments are recorded against the invoice, customers are matched or created with their billing address. Built for UK VAT and Australian GST, and supported in the UK by the people who wrote it.
From Starter, the Trust Layer™ adds live reconciliation, a monthly report with sign-off on the 1st, and a read-only login for your accountant.
Free for up to 100 orders a month, no card, no time limit.
Sync
- Real-time order sync. Orders post to Xero the moment they are paid, with line items, discounts, shipping and tax as WooCommerce recorded them. Not on the next scheduled task, not in a nightly batch.
- Refunds become credit notes. Full or partial, matched to the original invoice.
- Payments recorded. Paid orders arrive in Xero as paid, with the payment recorded in the Xero bank account you choose.
Trust Layer™ · reconciliation and reporting from Starter
- Compared line by line. Each invoice is read back from Xero after it is sent and compared with the order: every quantity, price, line total and VAT or GST figure, to the penny, plus its status, total and customer.
- Verify on any order. One click shows the store order beside its live Xero invoice, line by line, with the payment and the date it was made.
- Live reconciliation and a monthly report with sign-off. Your store’s totals beside Xero’s for any period, both read live, every difference explained, and a PDF on the 1st, ready for your accountant to sign off.
Products & stock · from Starter/Growth
- Stock from Xero. Stock levels held in Xero are written to your store’s products.
- Product sync with instant push. WooCommerce or Xero as the master, your choice. With WooCommerce as the master, a product you save goes to Xero straight away and the rest follow every hour.
- Cost of goods. Posted to Xero for every order with a cost price, using the cost prices you hold in Xero or set in Syncible.
Accountants · from Starter
- A read-only login. Share your store with your accountant and they see your reconciliation and Reports & VAT, signing in with their own email.
- The report in their inbox. On the 1st the monthly report goes to them as well as to you, and they can mark the month reconciled.
- Reports & VAT. The VAT or GST figures for any period, from the invoices in Xero.
Built for UK and Australian merchants
UK VAT and Australian GST are coded with your own Xero tax rates, reduced-rate, zero-rated and GST-free items included, and prices entered including tax are handled line by line. Invoices are raised in the order’s currency and dated in your store’s own time zone, so each sale lands in the right VAT or BAS period. Stores using Xero in other regions sync the same way.
Support
Support comes directly from the people who built the plugin, in the UK. uk and you get a reply the same working day, usually much sooner. If you would rather not do the setup yourself, tell us and we will walk through it with you.
You can also post in the support forum here.
You are never left to work it out alone. If something does not sync, the Syncible dashboard tells you why, and if that is not enough, we are one email away.

External service
uk), which does the synchronisation between WooCommerce and Xero. The Syncible service:
- Receives order and refund data from your WooCommerce store
- Connects to your store’s WooCommerce REST API with the key you approve during setup (what it does with that key is listed below)
- Authenticates with Xero on your behalf using OAuth
- Creates contacts, invoices, payments and credit notes in your Xero account, and, if you turn on paid-plan features that use them, items and cost-of-goods bills
- Stores synchronisation history for the activity view
- Emails the address you signed up with about your account (listed below)
The following data is sent to the Syncible service:
- During setup: the email address you enter and your store URL, to create your Syncible account. If you use an existing Syncible API token instead, that token and your store URL are sent to check it.
- When you connect WooCommerce: your store URL and API token. With “Connect WooCommerce automatically”, WooCommerce asks you to approve read/write access for Syncible and then gives the Syncible service a WooCommerce REST API key itself. If you paste a key instead, the plugin sends that consumer key and secret to the Syncible service.
- When you save the setup wizard: your store URL, API token and the choices on that screen (whether your prices include tax and your default Xero sales account).
- When an order is placed, changes status, or is refunded, the plugin sends that order directly to the Syncible service in real time. The data sent is the order as WooCommerce records it: line items, quantities, prices, discounts, tax lines, shipping, refunds, the billing and shipping details of the customer (name, address, email, phone), the payment method used, and any order metadata added by your other plugins.
- When syncing: order details (items, prices, tax, customer, payment method) and refund details
- When you save a product in WooCommerce: your API token and that product’s ID, so Syncible can send the change to Xero straight away. Only the ID is sent; Syncible reads the product from your store. This happens only on plans that send products to Xero, with that setting on in the Syncible dashboard.
- While the plugin is active: your store URL and API token on a regular status check, so the Syncible screens can show your sync status and any service notices
- When the plugin is deleted: your store URL and API token, so the Syncible service can pause syncing for your store and email you about it
- When opening the Syncible Dashboard menu in wp-admin: your store URL, API token and which dashboard screen to open (for example Settings) are sent, and a one-time 15-minute access token is minted by the Syncible service and used to embed your merchant dashboard inside WordPress admin via an iframe. The dashboard interface itself (UI elements, activity feed, settings panel) is rendered by the Syncible service on syncible.co.uk.
What the Syncible service does with your store’s WooCommerce REST API key:
- Reads each order the plugin sends back from your store before anything is created, changed or voided in Xero, so only orders your store actually holds reach your books
- Sets up WooCommerce webhooks on your store, so order and customer changes also reach the Syncible service directly from WooCommerce
- Reads orders, refunds, products and store details such as your time zone, to sync them and to run a regular check for recent orders
- Only on paid plans, and only if you turn on stock or product sync: updates stock levels, and creates or updates products, in your store
Emails the Syncible service sends to the address you signed up with:
- Account emails, for example when an order could not be sent to Xero or when the Xero connection needs reconnecting
- If you delete the plugin: a notice that syncing is paused, and a reminder three days before Syncible’s access to your Xero organisation is removed
