When you click “Connect to TextBuilder”, your browser is sent to https://app.textbuilder.ai/authorize/ together with your site address, your WordPress username and user ID, the plugin version and the address of the plugin’s settings page to return to. TextBuilder sends back an access token, which is stored on your site.
When you revoke a connection, the plugin sends that access token to https://api.textbuilder.ai/ so that it is deleted on the TextBuilder side as well.
While your site is connected, TextBuilder publishes the posts and images you send from your TextBuilder account to your site and reads your categories and tags, through the plugin’s own REST API endpoints. A featured image is downloaded from the image address that comes with the article.
