About this plugin
TradePoints for WooCommerce connects a WooCommerce merchant account to the TradePoints service and allows eligible customers to earn TradePoints from their purchases.
A TradePoints merchant account and valid API credentials are required to use this integration.
Features:
Merchant authentication using Client ID and Client Secret.
Connection status and connection testing in WooCommerce settings.
Optional TradePoints card number at checkout.
Existing TradePoints members can earn using their card number.
Customers without a card can be identified by email and registered with TradePoints when required.
Automatic points awarding when an order reaches the configured status.
Automatic full-refund points reversal when the original awarded points have not already been used.
Retry queue using WooCommerce Action Scheduler.
TradePoints status panel on WooCommerce orders.
Manual retry for failed or unsynced orders.
WooCommerce logging.
High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS) compatibility.
WooCommerce Cart and Checkout Block compatibility.
External Service
This plugin connects to the TradePoints API to provide TradePoints membership and rewards functionality.
When the TradePoints integration is enabled and used, the plugin may send information to TradePoints including:
TradePoints card number, when provided by the customer.
Customer email address.
Customer first and last name when required.
WooCommerce order transaction identifier.
Order amount required for points calculation.
Information may be sent to TradePoints when:
Testing the merchant connection.
Validating a TradePoints card number.
Identifying an existing TradePoints member.
Registering a customer with TradePoints when required.
Awarding points for an eligible WooCommerce order.
Reversing points following an eligible full refund.
The plugin communicates with the TradePoints service to perform these operations. Use of the TradePoints service is subject to the TradePoints Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
