Active installations10Adoption metric — not a quality score

Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records Ubicual version 3.0.0 as active, updated 11d ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.
Overview
About this plugin
Connect your site to Ubicual, the email and SMS marketing platform.
Signup forms: show the form of a Ubicual capture with the “Captura de Ubicual” widget or the [ubicual] shortcode (in block themes, with the Shortcode block). Submissions are saved to the capture’s lists.
User registrations: people who register on your site and tick the consent checkbox join the lists of the chosen capture. Start an automation with the “Se registra en tu WordPress” (registers on your WordPress) trigger.
WooCommerce orders: every paid order reaches Ubicual with its total and products, so you can start automations with the “Hace un pedido en WooCommerce” (places a WooCommerce order) trigger: thank-you emails, review requests, cross-selling… The consent checkbox is shown in both the classic and the block checkout. Compatible with High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS).
Nobody is subscribed without ticking the checkbox: registrations and orders of people who do not tick it only count when they already are Ubicual contacts.
You need a Ubicual account and its API token. The plugin interface is in Spanish.
External services
This plugin relies on the Ubicual services to work:
landing.ubicual.com: when the settings or the widget are saved, and when a form is displayed (cached for 10 minutes), the plugin sends the account’s API token to get its captures and the form fields.
subscribers.ubicual.com: when a visitor submits a signup form, their browser sends the form data (name, email, phone or the other fields of the capture). If registrations or orders are enabled in Settings > Ubicual, when a user registers or an order is paid the plugin sends the email, name, phone, whether the consent checkbox was ticked, the IP address and browser and, for orders, the order number, total, currency and products.
