Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records User Registration Stats version 1.1.0 as active, updated 23d ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.
Overview
About this plugin
User Registration Stats is a comprehensive, performance-optimized plugin designed to provide WordPress site administrators with clear and actionable insights into their user acquisition trends. It automatically tracks new user sign-ups and presents this data in a beautifully designed, modern dashboard within the WordPress admin area.
Built with scalability in mind, this plugin handles high-traffic sites effortlessly by utilizing advanced database optimization (SQL JOINs, custom indexes) and intelligent caching mechanisms (Transients API).
Key Features:
Advanced Source Tracking: Uses a smart 30-day cookie-based system to accurately track UTM parameters ( utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign ) and Referral links, ensuring no data is lost if a user browses before registering.
Modern Dashboard UI: A completely redesigned, responsive interface using lightweight SVG icons and Chart.js for beautiful 30-day trend visualizations. Fully RTL compatible.
Frontend Shortcode: Display key registration metrics on the frontend (client portals or public pages) using the [user_reg_stats] shortcode.
User Role Tracking: Automatically captures and displays the assigned user role upon registration.
Timeframe Aggregation: Quickly view stats for Today, Last 7 Days, This Month, and This Year.
WordPress Dashboard Widget: Get a quick glance at your daily and total registrations right from the main WordPress dashboard.
Robust CSV Export: Export filtered data including User Roles and UTM tags. The export engine is optimized to process thousands of rows without timing out.
Silent Updater: Seamlessly upgrades database schemas in the background without any data loss.
Complete Cleanup: Secure data clearing options and a full uninstallation routine for complete data removal.
