About this plugin
” before they ask almost anything else. VastuIQ lets a property site answer on the listing page itself.
Pick the direction of each room (or, for an open plot, ten site factors) in the Vastu details box on the listing. The plugin works out a Vastu score from 0 to 100 and shows a Vastu card on the listing, with the property’s name, its Vastu strengths and share buttons for WhatsApp and social media.
com, so a listing gets the same score here as in the VastuIQ Free Vastu Analyzer. Nothing is sent to any server.
Every listing gets something to show
Not every home scores high, so each listing can choose how it shows its Vastu:
- Full score – the score dial, band, what works in the home and a compass direction map. By default, listings scoring 70 or more show this.
- Vastu highlights – no number, just the home’s real strengths (“Kitchen in the South-East – Agni corner”). By default, listings below 70 show this.
- On request – “Planning around Vastu?” with a WhatsApp button to ask the agent. Buyers who care about Vastu become enquiries.
- Private – nothing on the listing; only you see the score.
The cut-off (70) and what lower scores show can be changed in Settings → VastuIQ.
What it does
- Vastu card with the property name, location and type read from the listing (Houzez and others), or typed in the Vastu details box.
- Share buttons: WhatsApp with a ready message, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Telegram, copy link and the phone’s own share menu. The message can be in English, Hindi or Hinglish.
- Share images made in the visitor’s browser: a square image for posts and a tall image for WhatsApp Status and Instagram Stories, in English, Hindi or Hinglish.
- Compass direction map: each room placed in its direction around the Brahmasthan, coloured by how well it fits there.
- Vastu chip for listing cards and search results.
- Four property types: home or flat, shop or office, industrial unit or factory, and open plot (road side, slope, shape, water, road ending at the plot, corner extension, boundary wall, trees, length and width, other roads).
- Live Vastu compass block and shortcode for phones, corrected from magnetic north to true north with the World Magnetic Model (WMM-2025).
- Blocks: Vastu Card, Vastu Map, Vastu Chip, Vastu Compass. Shortcodes: [vastuiq_score], [vastuiq_map], [vastuiq_chip], [vastuiq_compass].
- Structured data: listings that show the full score get a schema.org PropertyValue in a small JSON-LD block that works alongside Yoast SEO or Rank Math.
- REST field vastuiq (score and band for listings that show the full score) and the vastuiq_score post meta for sorting and filtering in themes.
- Every card says “Self-assessed”, because the details are entered by the listing owner. Crediting VastuIQ (with a link to vastuiq.com) is an option you can turn on; it is off by default.
- Works with any post type. Listing types from Estatik, Easy Property Listings, Essential Real Estate, Houzez, RealHomes, WP Residence and others are switched on automatically.
- Two styles: maroon and gold, or neutral to follow your theme. Ready for translation; the Hindi share message and images use built-in Hindi phrases.
How the score works
Each room scores 0–100 for the direction it sits in, as seen from the centre of the property. Rooms that matter more (kitchen, master bedroom, pooja room, toilets) carry more weight, and the main entrance counts like a room. A room in the centre (Brahmasthan) costs points.
A major defect, such as a toilet or kitchen in the North-East or the main entrance in the South-West, holds the score at 59 at most. Open plots are scored on ten site factors in the same way.
The direction rules are VastuIQ’s published tables, based on Brihat Samhita, Manasara and Mayamata, with agreed modern practice for rooms the classical texts do not discuss (garages, server rooms, lifts). The facing of the property is shown but not scored. Vastu is a traditional system; the score is a guide for buyers, not a structural or legal assessment.
Privacy
The plugin makes no outside requests, loads no outside fonts or scripts, and sets no cookies. Share buttons are plain links that open WhatsApp or the social site only when the visitor clicks them. The compass asks the visitor’s browser for motion access and (optionally) location, and uses them only on that page, in the browser.
Third-party data and fonts
The compass and the engine use the World Magnetic Model 2025 coefficients (WMM-2025) from NOAA’s National Centers for Environmental Information and the British Geological Survey, which are in the public domain.
