About this plugin
VideoWhisper Video for Tutor LMS adds a Media Capture tab to WordPress’s existing Media modal in Tutor LMS Course Builder. Instructors can capture and review local webcam video, microphone audio, screen recordings, photos, and screenshots before saving them in the site’s own Media Library.
The plugin keeps Tutor LMS’s original media controls available. It adds course, lesson, and quiz-question media capture where the native controls already accept media. Quiz prompt captures are embedded in the question description and can be replaced or removed before the instructor confirms the existing Tutor LMS action.
Features
- Record or capture webcam video, microphone audio, screen recordings, photos, and screenshots in a browser.
- Review a recording before it is uploaded to the local WordPress Media Library.
- Use captured media with Tutor LMS course thumbnails, intro videos, lesson media, descriptions, and quiz prompts.
- Respect the site’s native WordPress upload limit.
- Keep the core capture workflow local: this plugin does not require a VideoWhisper account.

Captured media is uploaded to the WordPress Media Library on the site where this plugin is installed.
