External services This plugin connects your site to Chaaty , a third-party service operated by Chaaty (https://chaaty.io). The connection is required because the chat assistant is hosted and processed by Chaaty. What the plugin does: It loads the Chaaty widget script from https://chaaty.io/widget/embed.js on the front end of your site (only when you have entered a Chatbot ID and the assistant is enabled). When a visitor interacts with the assistant, their messages and related session data are sent to Chaaty ( https://chaaty.io ) to generate replies and, where enabled, capture leads or bookings. This happens in the visitor’s browser via the loaded widget. The plugin sends your Chatbot ID (which you provide) to identify which assistant to load. The plugin itself does not send your visitors’ data to any other service.
