Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →

WP PlugIndex currently records WebOsmotic AI Site Debugger version 1.0.0 as active, updated 13h ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.

Overview

About this plugin

WebOsmotic AI Site Debugger helps WordPress administrators understand technical issues by collecting

structured diagnostic information from their site, redacting sensitive information locally,

and using Cloudflare Workers AI to provide contextual explanations, likely causes, and

recommended troubleshooting steps.

The plugin is designed as an analysis and troubleshooting tool. It does not provide a PHP

or JavaScript editor, does not execute AI-generated code, and does not automatically modify

or execute code on the WordPress site.

AI analysis is optional. The plugin ships inert: nothing is transmitted to an external AI

service until the site administrator configures a connection and explicitly enables

data-sharing consent.

What makes it different

Traditional WordPress debugging tools are primarily focused on displaying logs, queries,

errors, or environment information. WebOsmotic AI Site Debugger adds a privacy-focused analysis

workflow:

  • Collect relevant WordPress diagnostic information.
  • Redact sensitive information on the WordPress server.
  • Let the administrator preview the exact redacted payload.
  • Send the approved payload to the administrator’s configured Cloudflare Workers AI

connection.

  • Return a plain-language explanation, likely causes, and ordered troubleshooting

guidance.

  • Keep a local history of previous analyses for comparison and follow-up.

The plugin is intended to complement existing WordPress debugging tools rather than

replace them.

Key features

  • One-page dashboard: preview the exact redacted data, then run an AI analysis.
  • Redaction engine (on by default) for paths, secrets/keys/salts, emails, IPs, site domain, and database credentials.
  • Automatic model selection with escalation to a long-context model for large logs.
  • Local history of past analyses, with search, filtering, and JSON export.
  • Optional scheduled background analysis (WP-Cron, hourly/twicedaily/daily) with email alerts above a configurable confidence threshold.
  • WP-CLI commands ( wp aidbg analyze, wp aidbg test, wp aidbg history ) and a REST API for automation and integrations.
  • Settings export/import for moving configuration between sites (API credentials are never included).

Requirements & Cloudflare dependency

WordPress

2 or later.

4 or later.

* The PHP OpenSSL extension is recommended because stored secrets are encrypted at rest when OpenSSL is available.

Cloudflare Workers AI

WebOsmotic AI Site Debugger requires access to Cloudflare Workers AI for AI analysis. Cloudflare is an external service and is not bundled with WordPress or the plugin.

The plugin supports two connection methods:

-

Cloudflare Worker mode (recommended)

  • A Cloudflare account with Workers AI available.
  • The bundled Worker in the /worker directory must be deployed to your own Cloudflare account.
  • The Worker must have the AI Workers AI binding configured.
  • A SHARED_SECRET must be configured as a Cloudflare Worker secret.
  • The same shared secret and the deployed Worker URL must be entered in the plugin settings.
  • Wrangler is only required when deploying/updating the bundled Worker; it is not a runtime dependency of the WordPress plugin.

-

Direct Workers AI API mode

  • A Cloudflare account with Workers AI available.
  • Your Cloudflare Account ID.
  • A Cloudflare Workers AI API token with the permissions required to call the Workers AI API.
  • The Account ID and API token are entered in the plugin settings.
  • No Cloudflare Worker deployment is required in this mode.

The plugin does not include or provide a Cloudflare account, API token, Worker deployment, or Workers AI service.

The plugin does not download, install, or execute executable code from Cloudflare or from any other external service. The optional bundled Worker is deployment source code that the site administrator deploys to their own Cloudflare account.

External services

This plugin sends redacted diagnostic data to Cloudflare Workers AI, either through a

Cloudflare Worker that you deploy and control (Worker mode), or directly via the

Cloudflare Workers AI REST API using an Account ID + API token you provide (Direct API mode).

  • What is sent: the redacted diagnostic payload you preview on the dashboard (environment details, active plugins/theme, versions, and the redacted debug.log tail).
  • When: only when you click “Run AI analysis” or “Test connection”, and only after you enable consent.
  • Where: your own Worker endpoint, then Cloudflare Workers AI.
  • Cloudflare Terms of Service: https://www.cloudflare.com/website-terms/
  • Cloudflare Privacy Policy: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/

No data is sent to the plugin author.

If you enable email alerts, a summary of analysis results (not raw debug data) is sent

via this site’s normal wp_mail() to the address you configure. If you enable scheduled

analysis, the same consent-gated pipeline used for a manual click runs automatically in

the background on the interval you choose — no additional data categories are

collected or sent beyond what a manual analysis already sends. The REST API and WP-CLI

commands trigger the same pipeline and require the same manage_options capability as

the dashboard; they add no new external data flow.
