About this plugin
AI FAQ Creator is an FAQ schema plugin for WordPress. It writes FAQ sections from your page content with AI, lets you review and edit every answer, and adds valid FAQPage schema markup (JSON-LD) to the page — no coding and no hand-written structured data.
Bring your own API key from OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude or DeepSeek, generate FAQs in one click, then display them with a shortcode, a Gutenberg block or automatic append.

Please note: Google stopped showing FAQ rich results in Search on 7 May 2026. org data that any search engine or tool can read, but it no longer produces expandable FAQ listings on Google.

- Open any page or post and find the AI FAQ Generator meta box
- Click Generate FAQs from Page Content
- Review and edit the FAQs, then save
- Show them with [wtaf_faq], the AI FAQ Display block, or Auto-Append

A Custom model ID field for each provider lets you use a newer model, or replace a retired one, without waiting for a plugin update.

External Services
The plugin sends content to the AI provider you choose, and only when you ask it to: from the post editor meta box, Bulk Generate, Quick Generate, or a Search Insights “+ Add FAQ” suggestion. Nothing is sent on page load or in the background, and nothing is sent to WebTend.
What is sent: the text of the page (or the text you paste or fetch) plus the request settings (FAQ count, tone, model). Your site URL and personal data are not included.

Fetching a web address (Quick Generate)
If you choose “From URL” and press “Fetch Content”, your server requests the public web page address you enter (http or https only; private and local addresses are blocked) to read its text. That text is then sent to your chosen AI provider as described above.
