Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →

WP PlugIndex currently records WebTrendSEO Structured Data Editor version 0.10.1 as active, updated 5d ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.

Overview

About this plugin

Structured Data Editor Free adds a visual schema panel to the block editor. Create WebPage, Article, BlogPosting, AboutPage, ContactPage, Person and Organization nodes. Set values manually or resolve standard WordPress and supported SEO values automatically.

Preview the resolved JSON-LD, review warnings and save with the page.

Included Free functionality works without a license, account or time limit. Page export and site backup/restore are included. Stored templates, entities and advanced documents remain readable for compatible output and backup recovery; their management and advanced editing interfaces are supplied separately in Pro and are absent from this directory package.

JSON-LD rendering is not license-gated.

Pro is distributed separately through Freemius. It provides reusable-template and entity editors, advanced binding controls, a Global Values editor, site-wide Health reports and a custom JSON editing workspace.

5 clients: install and activate the protected Pro migration package before changing to the directory edition if you need to keep all your previous editing interfaces. Your legacy entitlement, schemas, templates, entities, source bindings, settings and IDs are preserved. Do not uninstall the existing plugin or rename its folders.

3 Free, one active at a time. Coexist is the default; Exclusive suppresses those supported SEO plugins’ schema. Other schema producers require separate review.

WooCommerce schema, multisite and paid SEO editions are not covered by the release verification.

Valid structured data does not guarantee a Google rich result or a ranking improvement. Markup must match the content users can see.

External services

The plugin includes the Freemius WordPress SDK for optional account connection, usage analytics, support and upgrading to the separate Pro product. Basic schema editing, validation, rendering and backup do not require connecting. The SDK asks for permission before optional data collection.

When you choose to connect, it sends account and installation details such as administrator email/name, site URL, WordPress/PHP/plugin versions and license/account information to Freemius. Optional diagnostic/extensions data is controlled by the SDK permission choices. Licensing, checkout and support actions communicate with Freemius when explicitly used.
