Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →

WP PlugIndex currently records WP-Math-2 version 0.1 as active, updated 15y ago and tested up to WordPress 3.1.

Overview

About this plugin

WP-Math-2 can help you insert math formula into WordPress posts or comments. $ (inline, around the text) to insert math. This plugin will render them to HTML or MathML code snippets(Depends on your browser.

If your browser supports MathML, it will use MathML, otherwise, use HTML and CSS instead). This work is done by javascript. So your browser must enable JavaScript.

But in most of RSS readers, any JavaScript snippets cannot execute. So I made a trick. WP-Math-2 will convert LaTeX text to images.

So users can see math contents with their favorite RSS reader software.
