WP PlugIndex currently records WPS Post Type Search version 0.2 as active, updated 14y ago and tested up to WordPress 3.2.
WPS Post Type Search creates a simple search widget that allows users to predefine the post types they wish to search via checkboxes. This widget adds no additional styling or javascript to your site leaving you in full control. In the widget settings, you choose from the public post types that you would like users to be able to search.
If none are selected, the search widget defaults to just posts (and not pages).
Not yet marked as tested with WordPress 7.1. WordPress.org currently lists Tested up to 3.2.
“Tested up to” is directory metadata supplied by the plugin author. WP PlugIndex does not turn an older declaration into a claim that the plugin is incompatible.
