About this plugin
HopMembers for WooCommerce connects your WooCommerce store to HopMembers so a paid order can automatically unlock (and a refund can revoke) Discord, Telegram, or WhatsApp community access.
Keep WooCommerce as checkout. Do not take orders inside Discord. Do not paste invite links after every sale.
Map a product or variation once; when the order is Processing or Completed, the buyer gets access. Cancelled or refunded orders can pull that access back.
This plugin is a free connector. It does not process payments. HopMembers is the membership and community-access layer (Discord membership, Telegram VIP / group, or WhatsApp group and private access).

This plugin requires a HopMembers account. Connecting the plugin sends data from your WordPress site to HopMembers so access can be provisioned after purchase.

Data sent to HopMembers
- Site URL and site name, used to identify the store
- The one-time connect code you paste from HopMembers
- WooCommerce order payloads via webhooks (order id, status, line items, customer fields WooCommerce includes in webhooks)
- Product id, name, status, and variation details when HopMembers loads your catalog
No data is sent until a store administrator with WooCommerce management capability connects the plugin. Disconnecting or uninstalling the plugin stops webhooks and tells HopMembers to drop the store connection.
