Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records LCP Booster for WooCommerce version 1.0.0 as active, updated 5y ago and tested up to WordPress 5.7.
Overview
About this plugin
LCP Booster for WooCommerce helps lower LCP (Largest Contentful Paint) time in your WooCommerce product pages. Responsive image preload for browsers that support it. This is a very simple plugin, with no options (for now), all it does is preload the main product image very early in the document, so it is already loaded when it needs to be displayed.
This helps cut down LCP. This plugin requires WooCommerce to be installed and active.
