Obohito SEO Fields is a lightweight plugin for adding basic SEO metadata to standard WordPress posts and pages. It provides: An editable SEO title that can be used as the document title. An editable meta description. An optional meta keywords field. Automatic fallback values from the post title, content, and post tags. WordPress nonce and capability checks when saving metadata. Sanitized input and escaped output. No analytics, tracking, telemetry, advertisements, or external services. No remote code execution or remotely loaded scripts or styles. No public-site credit links. Cleanup of the plugin’s own metadata when the plugin is uninstalled. The plugin stores its values as WordPress post metadata and outputs the description and optional keywords on singular standard posts and pages. If a supported SEO plugin is detected (Yoast SEO, Rank Math, or All in One SEO), Obohito SEO Fields does not change the document title or output its own front-end SEO meta tags. It does not modify or integrate with those plugins. Obohito SEO Fields does not guarantee search-engine rankings or indexing. Search engines decide how they use metadata and how pages are ranked. Privacy Obohito SEO Fields does not collect, transmit, or store personal data for analytics or tracking. It does not contact external servers. The plugin stores the SEO values entered by users with permission to edit the relevant post or page in WordPress post metadata. Security Metadata is saved only after a valid WordPress nonce and the current user’s edit_post capability are verified. Autosaves and revisions are ignored. Input is sanitized before storage and output is escaped before being sent to the browser. Compatibility The plugin uses WordPress core APIs and does not bundle third-party JavaScript libraries or external services. When supported SEO plugins are detected, Obohito SEO Fields avoids changing the document title or outputting its own front-end SEO meta tags to reduce duplicate metadata.
