Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →

WP PlugIndex currently records pierre314r Local Taxonomy Indexer version 1.2.4 as active, updated 9d ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.

Overview

About this plugin

pierre314r Local Taxonomy Indexer is a high-performance, standalone taxonomy search engine engineered for visual serenity and server sobriety. 4, ES6+ Vanilla JS, and 100% WordPress Plugin Check compliance), it indexes your local posts, pages, categories, and tags without overloading your database.

The Concept: Instant Local Search Without SQL Burden

pierre314r Local Taxonomy Indexer creates a lightweight memory index of your site’s content, delivering instant search responses directly in the visitor’s browser.

  • Zero Database Strain: The plugin generates a secure, static local index flatfile (.json ). Search queries execute in memory without running heavy SQL requests on your database.
  • Instant Browser Execution: Content filtering occurs live inside the visitor’s browser (RAM). Results display instantly upon typing.
  • Chrono-Semantic Precision: Content is ranked with mathematical accuracy: first by alphanumeric relevance to the query, then by publication date down to the second (UTC Unix timestamp).
  • Ergonomic Serenity: Traditional heavy search forms are replaced by a discreet floating badge (the Hub) that smoothly deploys an overlay modal. The visual palette is scientifically calibrated (soft beige background, celadon green cards, desaturated typography) to eliminate cognitive strain and visual fatigue.
