Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →

WP PlugIndex currently records carbon.txt, DIST Schema & CSRD Reports for WooCommerce version 1.6.1 as active, updated 8d ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.

5 spec and Digital Impacts Schema & Taxonomy). txt disclosure at your site root with one click, exports DIST-compliant schema for supply-chain reporting, and gives you a full local carbon reporting dashboard for EU CSRD readiness — no external service required, no order data leaving your server.

It turns completed WooCommerce orders into period-based carbon reporting snapshots, helping merchants understand trends, identify higher-impact products, and export reports for internal sustainability review.

  • Store owners who need exportable reporting data

How It Works

VerdantCart Carbon Reports estimates emissions using internal calculation rules applied to WooCommerce order data.

Reporting data is stored inside your WordPress installation and organized into aggregated snapshots used by dashboards, comparisons, insights, hotspots, and exports.

The plugin uses snapshot-based reporting so historical reporting periods remain stable instead of being recalculated during normal dashboard page loads.

Data & Privacy

All core calculations are performed locally in your WordPress installation.

The plugin does not require sending WooCommerce order data to an external service for its core reporting features.
