Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →

This app is beneficial to WordPress site owners and Designer/Developers that want to access or give access to a user, so that they can easily switch their themes. An example would be a designer that has developed a Christmas theme for a client wants their client the ability to switch themes without too much hassle. They install the plugin on their WP installation, give their client an editor account, and give them the necessary credentials to connect.
The client switches the theme come Christmas time with little fuss on their phone/tablet.
